Multiple frontends for customer access
Hello,
we are currently monitoring several networks via Zabbix with a server in our LAN and proxies in each of the networks we are monitoring.
The customers whose networks we are monitoring don't have an own IT but there are others who do. For those customers we would prefer to offer a frontend of their own to check up on specific hosts, the network as a whole or to be able to request another item to be configured.
So far I have tried to connect our local proxy with another Zabbix server in our LAN, which resulted in both servers sending their configurations to the proxy. This caused a lot of problems on our main server since the configurations were very different.
It seems possible to me to configure both servers in exactly the same way but that is work no sane admin would put on their own plate for any number of customers. So I would like to find a different solution to this problem.
Does anyone have experience with this or even a solution? I have looked a bit into the Grafana plugin and it seemed somewhat promising.
