Discovery Rules - files in folder

Hello,

I am using Zabbix v2.4.2 (which by the way is amazing) and I would like to define new discovery rules but I am not really sure how to do.

I have a folder where I keep some logs. What I would like to do is a discovery rule that will list the folder and create one item per file present in that folder.
The item and trigger are already defined and working but I have 20 log files and it can fluctuate so I was wondering how to setup a proper discovery rule for that.
I haven't seen any specific keys that allows to list files in a folder but maybe someone already tried this kind of things ?

This could be achieved by adding a custom discovery rule based on:

• a custom script sending a proper LLD JSON value to a Zabbix trapper based LLD rule.
• an user parameter generating a proper LLD JSON value.
• a loadable module that generates a proper LLD JSON value.
