    Capacity planning with Zabbix

Hi all, I try to find a way to use Zabbix as a tool for my switches capacity planning, but I don't know where to start.
I think about an item that will tell me the switches ports with 'UP' operational status as a percentage, so I could use it on a map, with a color code that will make it easy to visualize...

    Did someone already develop this?
    Thanks for your kind answers.

what about using the MIB 1.3.6.1.2.1.2.2.1.3 to get the total number of ethernetCsmacd interfaces( to not take into account vlan interfaces, LACP interfaces and loopbacks), then use the MIB 1.3.6.1.2.1.2.2.1.8 to get the status of those interfaces, and determine the percentage. It is just an idea, and I couldn't script that.
