Importing new templates in Zabbix 5.2.4 appliance.
So, here is the sequence of events so far...
Having downloaded the Zabbix appliance, and configured the basics, I have it up and running. I created the host for the various Ubiquiti network devices and created these with the generic snmp and this is all working fine and I can see in latest data such as Uptime, SNMP agent availability etc.
Having had a look on the web I then found a template for Ubiquiti Unifi and so downloaded it. I had a quick look at the XML file and it looks fine to the naked eye, so went back to my Zabbix, opened configuration/templates then clicked on import, choose file, choose the downloaded Template_UBQT_UNIFI_SNMP_V1.1_HN_4.xml file then click import and I get a "Imported successfully" next to a green checkmark icon.
Assuming this was it, I then go to the hosts configuration and Templates and select "Link New templates", I then look for the imported template and.... nothing, no sign of the template I just imported. Going to back to Configuration, templates and scrolling through the list and, no sign of the imported template....
I tried the Qnap template I found as well, and I get the same result.
So clearly either the process I am following is wrong or there is another issue, could someone please advise..
