I have 48-ports switch. I don't want to monitor all ports on the same level. I want to set e.g. critical level on uplink and information for other ports. Would someone be kind enough to give me an example of how to do this?
For now - I go to 'Triggers' tab on host configuration and chose for example "Interface 2: Link down". But "Severity" is grayed here. I can change it in "Trigger prototypes" tab - but this is a template, so it will change for each interface. Also for the uplink.
I suppose I can do this by creating two templates - one with the condition that it executes for the uplink interface and the other for all ports except the interface mentioned earlier. Have I right? The problem is, I don't know how to write it. Someone can give an example of how to extend this condition?
The second problem is that I can change severity, but condiotion is block:
