Zabbix stopped working: Database error, connection refused

Hello,

over the weekend Zabbix stopped working. I installed the system two weeks ago, downloaded the VM appliance and added nearly 80 hosts. Today I´m back in office and the website didn´t open anymore as if the web service is gone. Then I logged onto the command console and restarted the system. Nothing happened, just a blinking cursor after the screen went black. Then turned off the power and added 4 extra GB RAM and changed the harddrive space from 10 to 25 GB. After a fresh boot the command console looks good but when I open the website I get an error:

Database error - connection refused.

What has happened and how can I get back into the website?

I see... the harddrive went full... but how can this happen with a ready-to-go VM appliance? Trying to expand the hard drive now with gparted

Look for this message: "You can use this Appliance to evaluate Zabbix. The Appliance is not intended for serious production use."

Try install zabbix correctly to improve your experience.
