    Action Subject - modify to see "host" and defaults

    til zabbix 2.4. it was possible to change the "default subject" in an Alert Message, so I could see from which "host.name" the Alert was generated.

    where I used: 'Default Subject': {HOST.NAME} {EVENT.NAME}

    from 3.0 it is not longer possible.
    The Menue changed, I can "only" use a custom message, but there I have to define the "subject" and the "message".

    Therefore I have the following questions:
    1. it is not longer possible to change the "Default Subject" ?
    2. Any idea, what are the "default message" parameters ?
    3. another workaround could be to use the "host.name" directly in the Trigger Name, but the I see it double in some other usecases, eg in the "problem widget", where I have a field "host" and "problem" ( where the trigger name appeared.

    Any help or other ideas would be helpful

        Because "No one ever reads the documentation!".

        The theoretical answer lies in the plane of psychology.
        The unix_way principle of finding a solution to a problem ( 1) read the documentation 2) search the Internet 3) ask your colleagues ) are turned upside down.

        Many people first ask and are very "upset" when no one answers the obvious questions. It is not difficult for me to write a link - after that, many people still start reading.

          Very rhetorical question... Not really looking for answer... I am still wondering, why forum members have to point out pages in docs to read?... What's wrong with reading docs by yourself? And first reading and then asking, if something stays unclear... Amount of topics in this forum would be halved, if people would care to read docs before asking..
