    Creating item Uptime for Sonicwall NSa 4650

    Can anyone please help us create an item for Uptime for Sonicwall NSa 4650?

    We've created an item already but it is either getting the incorrect information from SNMP or we're not getting it at all.

    Currently, this an error message we're getting from the zabbix console: No Such Instance currently exists at this OID

    When I perform an SNMPWALK, this is what I get, which is the correct uptime

    Code:
    root@zabbixServer:/var/log/zabbix# snmpwalk -v1 -c "community" x.x.x.x 1.3.6.1.2.1.1.3
    DISMAN-EVENT-MIB::sysUpTimeInstance = Timeticks: (180032105) 20 days, 20:05:21.05

    Ps.: Community and IP address have been omitted.

    use oid .1.3.6.1.2.1.1.3.0 or DISMAN-EVENT-MIB::sysUpTimeInstance in "SNMP OID" field.

    check with " snmpwalk -Ona -v1 -c "community" x.x.x.x DISMAN-EVENT-MIB::sysUpTimeInstance

    snmpwalk not the same snmpget!

    snmpget -v1 -c "community" x.x.x.x 1.3.6.1.2.1.1.3" will cause the error.

      Thanks for the quick reply, I made the changes you had suggested, but I still get an odd value, very close, though.

      This is the snmpwalk

      Code:
      user@server:/home/derli# snmpwalk -Ona -v1 -c "comunnity" 192.192.192.192 DISMAN-EVENT-MIB::sysUpTimeInstance
      .1.3.6.1.2.1.1.3.0 = Timeticks: (200371476) 23 days, 4:35:14.76
      I have uploaded screenshots of the real uptime, the uptime item from zabbix and the screen from the latest data.

      By the way, I am running zabbix server version 5.2 on an Ubuntu server 20.4, the sonicwall is behind a zabbix proxy also running version 5.4... I am getting snmp traps using SNMP v3 with SHA and AES as authentication and privacy protocols respectively.

        first: timeticks = 1/1000 sec
        second: uptime prefixtranslated from seconds.
        use preprocessing to fix it.

          I have other devices that are being checked with SNMP, for the item uptime for those devices I am using exactly the same settings, but with a different OID.

          Anyway, I appreciate you trying to help, but what should I change and do here?
