Zabbix Diagram/ Workflow - How it is working?

Hi Guys,

I hope the question is at the right area. I'm working myself into zabbix. Read Documentation, try out functions, ... and reading zabbix forum.
Just now I try to make my own notes out of the documentation and testing. Because later I have to work with other people together and maybe share information for teaching. For example what I mean, to give an idea, here is the visual Wordpress Template Hiearchy.

Question: Is there a flowchart or diagram how zabbix work?

I just searched information to that topic... 2 hours now...

That was what I did. I found severel small part descriptions only. What I search is a full despriction of zabbix workflow.
And put them together is like a puzzle..
