    Zabbix localization

    Dear forum,

Perhaps this is a very basic question and is answered somewhere, but I'm unable to find it: My Zabbix is installed from the binary packages (not from the source) and I want to translate certain messages to my mother language. I've installed the system localesand I thin, configured the include locale file and the translated messages seems to be on the locale folder (mo files?). But if I try to edit this po file with, for exemple, poedit for mac, I always received a BAD GATEWAY from my nginx web server ... I need to replace the generated mo file with the original one to continue to work ...

Any help or tutorial from where I can learn how to translate messages from English to my mother language?

Thanks in advance for your help!

What steps did you take to be a little more specific? Did you get the source and use add_new_language.sh to add a directory for the new language?

Hi Atsushi , thanks for your reply.

No, I didn't get the source ... I only install the locales I need on my system with dpkg-reconfigure locales and edit /usr/share/zabbix/include/locales.inc.php

      Thanks.

ok, now I've downloaded the po file for my locale, but the problem is the same ... I've updated the po files with some translations I need and then, with update_po.sh I've updated the corresponding po file. If I go to Zabbix, I received a 502 Bad Gateway from nginx ...

First, how did you create the directory or po file? Did you use add_new_language.sh?
Also, did you run make_mo.sh and restart php-fpm after editing the po file?
