Hey everyone, I've been reading about zabbix-server pollers and I quite get what those processes are for - collecting data from passive agents & SNMP assuming the host is available.
If the host becomes unavailable, unreachable poller process is created to check - what? I assume it's a lighter process that ONLY checks if host becomes available again so that the original poller process could continue gathering data?
But I haven't found any valid information that would confirm my thoughts.
I haven't faced any issues, just want to make sure that I understand the fundamentals behind these processes, any links, info sources would also be appreciated! Thank you.
