    ServiceNow ticket created using Zabbix

    Hi all,

    I would like to ask you if it is possible to just with "one click" create ServiceNow ticket from Zabbix environment? Without any rule, only manually for one desired problem?

    Recently, I have put similar question, therefore I will ask further. To create a ServiceNow ticket using Zabbix is it really necessary to have any dedicated user account in ServiceNow (guide says: create a service user for creating incidents.)

    Any help much appreaciated!

    Take care!

    You still need a webhook or a script to do the work, but you have an option to trigger it from event menu.
    I am pretty sure you need account to do anything in SN.

      I do not really know to much about SN API, but it might as well be protected. You better ask your SN specialists about it. If it would be me, I'd never ever let anyone enter anything without authentication..
      Looking at that script, there is definitely user/passwd needed for that script to work... (proxy = 'https://%s:%s@%s.service-now.com/%s?SOAP' % (username, base64.b64decode(password), instance, interface))

        username = 'login ' # Service-Now login
        password = 'password' # base64 encrypted Service-Now password, don't use plaintext passwords

        Fill those with correct values and you should be good to go, at least you can test something... It is pretty old script, things are probably changed on SN side also, so do not expect this to work right away...
