    Creating a trigger-based action

We have Zabbix 2.4.4 and I'm having an issue when I create actions. I am only given the condition options for actions based on internal events. What can I do to change it so that I instead see the options for setting conditions for trigger-based actions?

We have used Zabbix 1.8 in the past, and this was not an issue, so when we created a new server and installed Zabbix 2.4.4 (at the time, the newest one), this was a new problem for us.

Currently, in this new Zabbix, we have three hosts set up, linked to one of two different templates, each of which has an item (icmpping) and a trigger, the expression of which is {[Template_Name]:icmpping.max(180)}=0. We used this expression previously and it worked fine.

Please also note I am not fully versed in the magics of Zabbix, or macros, or anything like that.

Before you press the button of 'Create action', are you selected 'Triggers' on Event source selection in the upper right corner?

No, somehow I had missed that dropdown but I found it yesterday. Thanks!
