    Monitor deep sleep devices

I have a few devices that are ESP32 based and take advantage of “deep sleep”. Essentially until one of their sensors notice a change, they are offline. What I want to do is monitor the devices for a web string every minute. However success equals finding the string only once within a 12 hour period. Essentially, I need to know if the device has woken up at least once in a 12 hour period and if it has been more than 12 hours since it has been seen alive, alert. I can’t think of a way to do this in Zabbix so I am looking for ideas.

You should be able to use nodata() function for some web scenario items.

Great hint! I found this thread

I think I can just do what they’re doing but change the 30s example to 12h.
