Default MACRO {HOST.CONN} issue in item

I use zabbix version 5.4.5.

I added a tag to one of the item based on macro that displays the IP address {HOST.CONN}.
When I look at Latest Data, the server IP address is not displayed but the Macro {HOST.CONN} See attached file.
Exactly the same macro is displayed correctly on Trigger, the IP of the server 1.1.1.1.

what am I missing?

Your pic also show all other macros ({HOST.HOST}, {ITEM.NAME} etc. )not being expanded. And that's how they are, not expanded.

Using filter

You can use the filter to display only the items you are interested in. For better search performance, data is searched with macros unresolved.

Why do not I see in Latest Data the IP address (1.1.1.1)?

No, I gave you exact explanation from docs... Somehow you thought its not what you asked... I cannot give any other answer to that, but just repeat... macros are not resolved there.. not a bug, by design... As you see from your own pic. no macros there are resolved, not just host.conn....

They will be expanded if your trigger fires and problem is created (for example on problems page, you will see everything as you need) . they are not expanded just on those config pages.

In previous versions it was possible to see MACRO in Latest Data.
Sounds really weird to me you can not search for a basic data like the IP address of the server.
You do not think so?

I don't know, maybe. As I do not have a version in prod, that would even support this, then maybe I just do not know, what I am missing..
For now I can very well manage with just selecting correct hosts in filter.
