Hi there,
We have this problem in our company, with monitoring CCTVs. I am new with zabbix and not sure 100% if this is matter of bad configuration of zabbix discoveries or if its just lack of knowledge. We have hikvision CCTVs connected to hikvision PoE Swithes (3 SW - 1 "main" connected to NVR and 2 in other Server rooms connected with fibre optics to the "main" SW). The NVR itself is in VLAN 10.1.6.X. but CCTVs have IP range from "Inside LAN2" which is 192.168.0.X. So they are "unaccesible" from the "outside". Our goal is Just to know which camera is online and which offline, and send email notifi when CCTV went offline. But when I made discovery rule according to tutorials i found on zabbix forums or internet in general, nothing has seemed to work the way we wanted, not even discovered any of the CCTV. Only thing i managed to made is monitoring the NVR itself, but still dont know the state of each camera. My question is, if there is a way to read devices connected to NVR via SNMP or zabbix agent or even some other way ?
Thanks a lot for reading and hopefully helpin me out.
Much regards, Cya
