Checking if active agent is still running

    Hi all,

I'm rather new to Zabbix so I'm looking for some help.

In my system setup I only use active agents which send their data on regular intervals to the Zabbix server. For your information, my agents are running on Windows OS.

I would like to perform a check in order to verify the agents are still running. Is there a possibility to do that in the case of active agents? Can, for example, a trigger be defined on the server that is fired in case no new data is received from the active server within a certain time limit?

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Thanks.

if you use the windows template, there is a trigger

    Code:
    {Template OS Windows:agent.ping.nodata(5m)}=1
take a look at this Example 8
