    Slow frontend performance

    Hey,

The performance of my zabbix server is a little slow at the moment.
When I open Monitoring->Hosts it takes one or two seconds to load.

My zabbix application server is running on 4 cores and 16GB of ram, same with my zabbix database server.
Both are currently only using about 2 GB or ram.
Is there a way to make it perform better through using more ram (caching etc)?

Is Latest data also slow? What DB do you use?

The data itself isn't slow, although I've been tuning the DB today.
      I'm using MySQl.
It seems like loading hosts is the only slow part

What server version do you run? Did you upgrade recently to 6.0?

Try to increase buffer pool and PHP memory limit and see if it helps?

        I'm using 6.0.
I've increased the buffer pool to 8G and all the other MySQL variables quite a bit.
I've also increased the php memory limit to 1G but it doesn't seem to help

That's weird. Any suspicious messages in nginx/Apache error log? The only thing I can suggest at this point is to raise an issue at support.zabbix.com and give as many details as you can.

I have much the same issue "Monitoring > Hosts" takes 3-4 sec to load after upgrade.
New install (https://bestmonitoringtools.com/how-...ver-on-ubuntu/) add 5-6 hosts.
GUI and evrything works snappy and fast. "apt update" get these updates installed and boom.

The only error I can see in the Zabbix_server.log are these filling up.

How often do you see such messages in the log? Can you show your System information report? (PM is fine)

I have the same version of zabbix and the same problem.
Latest data - running very slow. In addition, templates are sometimes loaded for a few - several minutes (and template files have, for example, 36KB ...)

There are no bugs with zabbix, apache, php, postgres.
I suspect this is a frontend problem.
This is the configuration of the /etc/php-fpm.d/zabbix.conf file:

Does anyone have an idea how to solve this problem?

Unfortunately, this did not solve my problem.

I changed this value before, but there is no indication that these are problems with postgres - import template is still taking a long time and the latest data tab works the same\

I will try to enable debug mode in apache - maybe it will show something interesting

I had similar issue. Upgraded server from 3.4.15 to 5.0.33. I didn't think it would work. It worked well and yes frontend has this 3-4 seconds delay. I tried from MS Edge and then it was fast. I was using firefor esr 102. Then I added a fully trusted https cert to frontend and it's now fast from firefox and edge. There was no issue at all with zabbix after full https frontend installation.

Upgrade working on Debian 11.6 with packages installed automatically with apt install nginx postgresql zabbix-nginx-conf zabbix-server-pgsql
              1. nginx 1.18.0-6.1
              2. postgresql-13 13.9-0
              3. zabbix-nginx-conf
              4. zabbix-server-pgsql
by following the guide Upgrade notes for 5.0.0

If frontend is slow, like 2 to 4 seconds delay, can you confirm from which browser?
