Overwrite CPU Utilisation value to trigger a critical event

    Hello guys.

Recently, I ended up finding out that a trigger did not go into WARNING/CRITICAL state when it should've (CPU Utilization).

I would like to trigger a critical event in order for me to test the trigger and its notification.

Is that possible to do? I can't make the CPU spike in this server, because it's a production environment.

    I'm using `zabbix_agentd (daemon) (Zabbix) 5.4.10`

    Thanks!

You have trigger testing possibility on the trigger config page... If it works there, it should work in real life. If it did not, then you need to investigate, why...Compare gathered data to your conditions etc..

Hmm Where is this trigger test feature? I can’t find it. Can you please provide me a screenshot or a link to the documentation?

      Thanks!

In trigger config under "Expression" box is a link "Expression constructor". Click it and your view changes a bit and you should see "Test" link there...
