No media defined for user

Hi all,

We are running Zabbix 6.0.4 on Ubuntu server 20.04

Everything was working fine, but out of the blue, email stopped working. The error I see is "No media defined for user" for every user in the user group
I've tried creating a new user group, a new action, changing email server and a new media type, but nothing works.

We've been using Zabbix since version 3, so I'd like to think I know my way around Zabbix, but this one has me baffled.
I hope that somebody can point me in the right direction.

Is there a media defined in users config? None of those things you did have any effect, if your user(s) has no media in config...
I kind of doubt, that everything was fine, but "suddenly" email media disappeared from all uses configs... someone poked their greasy fingers into the machine..

You are absolutely right, I also don't believe it when somebody says "it just stopt working".
To make things even stranger, Zabbix is running as a VMware virtual machine, this morning I restored a backup from a week ago, and this has the same issue, and I'm pretty sure it was working fine a week ago.
I just checked, but email media is available for all users involved.

I had the same problem and I found the cause on conditions set on action configuration.
In my case there ware some conditiond "not equal" and "equal" with "AND" as "Type of calculation".
I cleaned and readd all confitions and that solved the issue.
