    Notifications /Actions

Hi one question about sending notifications about free space on from servers.
Mainly i have created trigger thats work if my server have low disk space:

    {Windows Servers Standard Counters:vfs.fs.size[{#FSNAME},pfree].last(0)}<10 and {Windows Servers Standard Counters:vfs.fs.size[{#FSNAME},free].last(0)}<10240G

The second part in this expressions need to show also GB and precents free space left.

I have created Action trigger to send IT team notofications with fololowing trigger:
    1. {ITEM.NAME1} ({HOST.NAME1}:{ITEM.KEY1}): {ITEM.VALUE1} ({ITEM.VALUE2})
Seems all looks good and hve smooth notification in my email:

    Free disk space on E: (percentage) (xxx:vfs.fs.size[E:,pfree]): 4.4 % (21.33 GB)

until i have other trigger to have problem then my notification looks:

    Used RAM (xxxx:vm.memory.size[pused]): 80.74 % (*UNKNOWN*)

How to filter this (*UNKNOWN*) [({ITEM.VALUE2})] for other triggers???

    Thanks!!

Create different Actions for different applications (disk space, memory).

Yes i also think about this but i have another problem related with this:
I created action for disk space alarm and i have for example 5 technicans that need to receive alarams fro theri own servers (example Tech 1 get notifications for server 2,3,5) at this solutions i get to create to many filters maybe is possible to have another method to filter out this ?

      Thanks!

        Hi,

I've never tested it, but you have the possibility in the snmp configuration of your servers to put a contact email (you can see it in host inventory).
I think there is a way to send notification to this email adresse.

wpa, create several groups and grant only the needed read permissions on hosts. Then assign engineers to these groups.
