    It is not about thinking but checking the release notes https://www.zabbix.com/rn/rn6.2.3 (https://support.zabbix.com/browse/ZBX-21266)

      Okay, so we finally updated our server to 6.2.6 and the issue persist. Still got *UNKNOWN*. I also tried to simplify it for debugging, so I created simple expression for uptime, when it's > 0 (which is always true), but Zabbix instead of printing the value to Problem still giving me *UNKNOWN*

      For what else can I look, or where could be problem?

        Can you check and show zabbix_server.log that you really have started 6.2.6?

          Unfortunately I can't, still don't have access to server, but GUI says 6.2.6

            So I finally got access to the server and it's up and running 6.2.6

            zabbix /]$ zabbix_server -V
            zabbix_server (Zabbix) 6.2.6

              That's not any proof of having Zabbix server version 6.2.6 process actually currently running in the background, you know. Updating the executable files on disk don't affect the running processes, and the default upgrade process doesn't restart the service automatically.

              Please check and show the actual log.

                  So now you actually know that your server is running 6.2.6. Does your configuration work now?

                  (Reminder: worked for me with 6.2.4 in November, didn't work for you in 6.2.2)

                      I think I'm out of ideas right now. It worked for me on 6.2.4, and works currently on 6.4.0rc1:

                      (also tested with Event name = {?last(/Testhost/testitem)}, worked fine, showed just the last value)

                        6.4.3 don't work. Any version show *UNKNOWN*
                        {?last(/item)}
                        {?last(/item,#2)}
                        {?last(/item,#5)}
                        {?last(/item,5m)}

                          I made it working )
                          According to https://www.zabbix.com/documentation...ression_macros

                          In template.. omit the host altogether for the first host—for example, {?avg(//item1,1h)}—instead of template names, as template names are not replaced with host names during template linking
                          So I put something like:

                          disk state changed from [ {?last(//vfs.file.contents[SOMEPATH],#2)} ] --> [ {?last(//vfs.file.contents[SOMEPATH],#1)} ]
                          into Event Name field and got previous and last valuses (!) to be displayed when trigger occurs.

                          *I am working on a template for mdadm raids monitoring so it is in a trigger based on items discovery
