Hello,

Is it possible to convert Zabbix template from newer to older version?

As example version 6.0+ template to be converted to version 5.0 or 5.2.

It depends on the template contents: if the template uses features that don't exist in the older version of Zabbix then it is not possible. But if the problem is just the changed syntax of the template file, then you can manually edit and contruct a template file that is compatible with your older Zabbix.

There are no generic instructions for that (AFAIK), so you need to download some other compatible templates for those versions and compare their contents manually.

Do you really need to convert them? I remember downloading from 4.4 and uploading to 6 went without any issues...

Upgrades are supported, but downgrades are not
