SMS limit for a day

Greetings!

I am looking for solution to limit SMS notification count for user per day. Is it even possible to do on zabbix right now?
I looked trough zabbix documentation as well looked trough forum and searched on google, but did not find any solution for this.

Looking forward for some tips and help!

If you create own script which keeps a track how many sms's has been sent to user then it's possible.

Hi!,
This could not be the best or most elegant solution, but hey maybe sparks some ideas... you could add an additional media type, script, that writes the date and a "1". This could be to a temp file or a new table in your database.
In your trigger action that uses sms, add an additional step to use that media type, so each time you send an sms, a 1 and date will be written somewhere.
Add a new item (type external check) where you will run your query, schedule it at 23:59. Remember in the logic of your script to purge those values from time to time.
