Map Elements not showing labels correctly while editing

Hello,

I have a couple of maps that are behaving differently while editing.

I have labels like this:

{HOSTNAME} ({HOST.IP})
Latency: {?last(/{HOST.HOST}/icmppingsec)}

On one map, when I'm editing the Elements show the expected data. On another map, it shows the plain text. When I hit Update, go out of the map and back in, the expected data shows.

It's not a big deal but this map happens to have a dozen or so Elements that are the same, putting it together and not seeing the correct label while editing is proving painful. I've tried creating a new map and the same thing happens.

Ideas?

I thought this is how dynamic labels work, but from what you are saying, it seems it would work without the need to update the entire map

lauramariab I find the dynamic updates work for the first map, any subsequent maps I've created it doesn't work for. It that what you see?

Lost all the zabbix configuration and data so I couldn't check anymore since I started from scratch and until now I did not use this setting anymore...Please create backups!
