dbversion is the first table it checks, if it cannot find it, check your DB, if you schema is in place.

What version and platform of Zabbix are you trying to install? Have you installed the zabbix-sql-scripts package?
Depending on the version, the file to use will be the following path.
          /usr/share/zabbix-sql-scripts/mysql/server.sql.gz

Select your Zabbix version and platform on the download page to see the instructions.
Zabbix is being downloaded over 4 000 000 times every year for a reason. Download and install Zabbix for free and try it yourself!

By the way, please show me:

Do I just use a zabbix server to monitor all networks and server in my system, or we need both to use zabbix server and zabbix proxy server to monitor a network system?
If I use both, what is the advantage and disadvantage?
When I use both, if a zabbix server down, zabbix proxy server is active. Can I still monitor the services in my networking system? I still confuse this.

              Thanks in advanced,

              Paul

                How hard can it be?
Server is a must and proxies are optional. Depending on the size of your environment it may be useful to have proxies to spread the load of polling and leave server to do all the calculation work.
Your proxies will keep polling hosts even if your server is down. When server comes up again, proxies will forward all the data. Of course it is not possible to get any notifications, while server is down...

Y networking system is small ISP. It has over 20.000 sensors to monitoring. Running both zabbix server and proxy server is better, however, I am a new person approaching the open-source. So it will be difficult for me to troubleshoot if there is something wrong happened .

I will setup both to operate.

                  Thank you,

                  Paul,
