Add name to switch port in Zabbix

Hello, Is possible add description or name to port of switch monitored by Zabbix. Eg. interface name GigabitEthernet1/0/1 I wold like give the OutgiongInterface name. Is this possible ? I know that some modern switches have ability give name to port and after this I can read this via SNMP. But my switch are old and does´t have this functionality.

In some switches you can add a display-string or labrl, and zabbix grabs this label

I know but my DGS-1210-48 doesn´t have this features.

mmmm then when zabbix discover all interfaces you can disable autodiscover and rename the item on zabbix

Good idea. But when I disable aitodiscover can I get information about port UP or DOWN ?

The item is created, so I think the answer is YES.

Just ensure that you have all the ports discovered.
