    Zabbix 6.0 LTS - SNMPv3 iDrac 9

    Hello guys,

Im very frustrated. In my cluster ive setup an zabbix proxy. It is reporting to my zabbix server. All images/container are running on latest within Zabbix 6.0 LTS.

I want to get SNMP Metrics from an iDrac 9...Which runs good with snmpv2. But in snmpv3 i got all the time:
Cannot connect to "xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx:161": Authentication failure (incorrect password, community or key).

Ive checked the password and user more than once. Ive checked also the service itself and the permissions/snmpv3 enabled.

Locally i can run an snmpwalk with success...
But on a snmpwalk ive set only "SHA" and "AES". What kind i should select in zabbix? There is not that simple "SHA" or "AES".

What can I do for deeper analyzis?

What arguments are you specifying when you run the snmwalk command? Have you tried changing the security level setting when registering the host's SNMP interface on the Zabbix side?

      Good evening Atsushi,
Thanks for reply I ran following command:
      Code:
      snmpwalk -v 3 -l AuthPriv -u snmp -a SHA -x AES -A "passowrd" -X "secret" -d "ip" sysName
That ran successful and i got the System name.

But (with same credentials) I didnt get it in zabbix. Do you know where I can have deeper informations.
What do youb mean by "registering the interface"? I create a host, add SNMP interface with username, Auth Secret + Priv Secret. (But no context...)
