Zabbix and Veeam

Hello,

I'm running Zabbix 6.0.17 and I'd like to monitor my Veeam Standard edition v11 server.

In the Zabbix documentation it says that I need the URL API of my Veeam server,

Is there any other way to monitor the status of Veeam jobs? with another template or something?

Do you know where I can find this URL?

For people wanting to do it with eventlog,
Here is how i configured my item to get the failed backup job.



Veeam Backup = the name in the eventlog
Error = type of log i want to get
Veeam MP = source of log
190 = ID of the event

And with the trigger

I can see which backup is failed in latest data.

i just need to see how to get the name of the failed backup in the trigger.

Hello,
I followed your link and arrived on your post.
However, when I try to import your template, it gives an error.
"Wrong version" when i change it,
"Wrong name and template" when i change it,
"Wrong OID", do you know why ?

Standard doesnt have api support?

Hello, i've asked the support for the information and yes the standard doesnt have API support

You have 3x choices really
- collect info via windows event log
- collect info from produced logs (not my fav)
- collect info from database (veeam comes with mssql - but again not sure if standard got one) directly to get status - cannot answer from which table but im in process of investigating and creating non standard views in sql to collect all info i need (im using api and it doesnt show status of replication via api for some reason, only backups)

Unfortunately I don't have time to fix it.
The template is made for version 6.2
There is nothing complicated in it - you can look into its text, understand the idea and make your own template.

Hello,
I have a problem with this alert, the alert is included in the last data, I retrieve the data but the trigger does not appear on the dashboard, while it appeared before.


On the dashborard im supposed to see "SRV35-BKP - trigger...." but i dont see it

Do you have any idea?
