    Proxy alerts while its unreachable

    Hi all,
Today I got into a scenario where the connectivity to the whole site that the proxy resides on went down, the proxy is configured in active mode.
In that case, I didn't get any alarm about any host that was monitored by this proxy, the timer on the "last seen" just keep raising - which is unacceptable in a production environment.
What am I missing in my setup? how should I get an alert about hosts while their relevant proxy is unreachable by the main server?

Use "zabbix[proxy,<name>,lastaccess]" internal items to monitor which proxies are alive

      Thanks for your reply.
Where should I config this item, on the Zabbix server itself?
Can you attach an example image?

          Set "Units" to unixtime
          and trigger like fuzzytime(/host/zabbix[proxy,you_proxy_name,lastaccess],10m)=0

I would like to send an HTTP Post Alert Action from alerts to our cloud based alert platform. They have a SOAP API and I have successfully tested the XML body in SOAPui. The only thing stopping me from using this action, is that I need to configure minimal proxy info; host and port. How do I configure this? Thanks

Start a new thread, your question is nothing to do with this one.
