    Housekeeping monitoring on proxy

    Hi All

I'm new to zabbix and after looking right and left here and on google, I'm forced to ask the question

I have a setup running a zabbix 3.0.2 server with 2 proxies (3.0.2). all on linux Ubuntu.

I'm getting alerts for housekeeping busy, not a huge deal at the moment, but from all 3 servers.
All 3 at the same time, and Ok and the same time too.

Digging a little more at the logs, config, items and trying variation with the zabbix[process, housekeeper, avg, busy] key, I realize that both proxies are reporting the server's housekeping status.

The graph for zabbix[process, housekeeper, avg, busy] for a proxy do not reflect what's happening on the proxy itself.

Housekeeping on the proxies usually run under a second, as shown in the logs, but the graph show the 20 minutes + process of the server.

I've created a graph that show the zabbix[process, housekeeper, avg, busy] for the server and 2 proxies, and they all match the server curve to the pixel.

Is this normal behaviour for internal checks, or is this one (housekeeping) not supported for proxies ?

    Thanks !!

Make sure zabbix_agent that is running on the proxy is configured to use the proxy as it's server, otherwise the metrics will not be right.
