Received response has no valid XML data error while configuring v-center

Hi Guys,

This is shv kumar !

I need your help to configure Vcenters under monitoring. i'm getting below two errors ,

1.Received response has no valid XML data.

2.cannot complete login due to an incorrect user name or password (i can login with same credentials)

after changing poller values and vmware values in zabbix server. please help me to resolve the issue.

Is it new config or it was working fine before? If it is old then can you please share the host config screenshot?

it is new configuration. i have changed lot of parameters by seen on different websites which are worked before. but end of the day i got same result.

can u please provide any check list for vcenter monitoring.

For new config.

You have to add below settings in zabbix-server.config

StartVMwareCollectors=3
VMwareFrequency=60
VMwarePerfFrequency=60
VMwareCacheSize=32M
VMwareTimeout=120

And follow the instruction as per the link https://www.zabbix.com/integrations/vmware

Then where you stuck? Can you please share the error message if you received?

These are standard settings and then after you have to configure macro for authentication and SDK URL in vcenter host.

We are experiencing the same issue- "Received response has not valid XML data" in the "Info" field each item associated with a VM in our environment. Please see attached screenshot.
