Cannot link template to discovered hosts

Hi,
I am using Zabbix v.5.0.20 where I have configured a few ZTE OLT-s as hosts. I have created a template "ONU Discovery" to discover the ONU-s connected to each OLT using SNMP.
Now I want each ONU to ping 8.8.8.8 every min. I can create a template ICMP ping, but it connects only to the hosts that I have already configured (OLT-s). I am facing difficulties in connecting this template to the discovered hosts and show graphically this info.
If anyone can help, please.

To force something to ping something.. you should probably have an agent on that device, what would execute it... I doubt you have any agent on those ONU-s, that can do it ...
