New to Zabbix and Cisco - am I looking to see if there is a way to monitor the traffic flowing through a Cisco PIX or 2600 Router.

.1.3.6.1.2.1.2 is the iftable branch of the snmp tree. You should be able to determine pretty much anything you're wanting about an interface from that.

I you can "snmpget" that OID, then you can put it in Zabbix.
First create a new host representing your router and then add on item for each OID you want to monitor, provinding community, SNMP version, OID, polling frequency... and a key (sort of unique ID you'll use when writing triggers). An SNMP item is quite close to a Zabbix Agent item.Comment

K, think I have set up the host and 1 item, but now I get "Availability" Not avilable.
