Delay/Dependency on "Report not supported items" emails or notifications

Can there be set some delay or dependency on mails sent for "Report not supported items"?
Thing is when certain hosts become unavailable (ie a simple reboot), many of their checks become unsupported and flood us with emails. Everything coming back to normal once the host is back up online.
That means the notifications for actual meaningful "not supported items" are drowned in all the noise generated by those transient unsupported items.

    Thanks!

If the reboots are scheduled you can set up Maintenance period before performing them. Otherwise you can delay an action by adding multiple Escalation steps to it.

First option is indeed configured for scheduled maintenance but second one I couldn't get my head around; Can't seem to set a value for "start in" other than "immediately" nor can I set first operation as "do nothing" (for say first 5 mins). Any suggestion to workaround that?

Send an e-mail to a dummy user that has no media defined in Step 1? Like in this example "guest".

I take it that wont cause an error of its own? (aka it'll just silently fail sending the mail)

Good point. I can't remember now, but you could test it. Another alternative is to create a mailbox rule for dummy user to always drop incoming mails. :-)

Give me a few days and I should be able to confirm if working. It should go from ~600 notifications daily to only a handful. If none then I'd be suspicious that first step is causing trouble.
