Zabbix 6.0: i disable and delete templated Items, but after a while they re-appear

I create a Host and link it to "Template OS Windows by Zabbix agent active" template.

As a result, a bunch of Items get attached to that host and each Item has these Parent Items: "Template Module Windows generic by Zabbix agent active ⇒ Template OS Windows by Zabbix agent active"

Many of the Items are unnecessary for my monitoring purposes and i want to get rid of them, but even if i Delete them, they re-appear after a while.

So there is no possibility to delete templated Items?

Hi,
Check if your template has Discovery rules and those discovery rules has items prototypes. In afirmativa case disable those you didn't need (at item prototype set "create enable" to NO)
The discovery rule will create them any way but they will be disable and don't gave any info.

Hi All, I created several discovery rules but none of them worked.
I put together one identical to the one I found in the tutorial but it doesn't start at all,
they don't see any exposed nodes except the icmp ones
on the internet I have seen several reports of discovery with zabbix not working but no indication of how to resolve it.
Anyone has a direct link to the documentation or to a tutorial?
