Zabbix Server Unable To Communicate With Agent

Hi,

I am new to Zabbix monitoring so I really appreciate any help.

# Zabbix Server [RHEL-ZBX-01]
- Server OS : RHEL 8.9,
- Zabbix Server Version: 6.4.12

# Zabbix Monitored Host [RHEL-NGA-02]
-Server OS : RHEL 8.7,
- Zabbix Agent Version: 6.4.12

# firewalld & selinux are disabled.

# Ping statistic 0% packet lost. Traceroute 1 hop successful.

# zabbix-get on RHEL-ZBX-01 successful.
>> zabbix_get -s <RemoteHostIP> -p 10050 -k "system.cpu.load[all,avg1]"
0.010000

However, in Frontend, i get this error :
>> Get value from agent failed: cannot connect to [[xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx]:10050]: [4] Interrupted system call

What else am I missing ?

have you configured the agent on the [RHEL-NGA-02] to talk to server RHEL-ZBX-01 ?

in /etc/zabbix/zabb_agentd.conf look for the line Server and change it from 127.0.0.1 to the ip of RHEL-ZBX-01

Considering zabbix_get is working, then at least Server parameter has to point to real server, or query would be denied...

Good morning, I'm new to Zabbix and I'm having trouble automatically monitoring devices with Zabbix. I have installed the server and installed the agent on Windows. Zabbix is not finding any devices within the range of IPs that I have set, when it should at least find this device that has the agent. I have uninstalled the agent and tried to install it via command, but I get this error. Any solution? Thank you.

Yes. I have changed the Server= & ServerActive= to point to the Zabbix Server.

Yes. That's what is not making sense. By right it should be able to communicate but somehow it is not. Any other idea what else to check ?

Try to investigate the logs on Zabbix server:
/var/log/zabbix/zabbix_server.log

And Zabbix Agent logs on monitoring host:
/var/log/zabbix/zabbix_agentd.log

Hi, I have restarted from scratch. I would like to share additional infor on the new set up. How do I update the first post ? Or should i close this and start a new one ? Can't find the setting / option to do either.
