    "NoData" Alerting

Looking at the documentation, it seems you have to create a trigger using the .nodata() trigger function if you want to be alerted if an item does not collect any data within a given time frame.

This seems a little bit over excessive / time consuming to have to create a nodata trigger to go alongside the trigger for that particular item.

Is there a way of viewing items that currently are not collecting data, or creating an alert for *any* item that is not collecting data?

    Thanks in advance!

    Shortly... no.
Data not coming in can be OK also, depending on collection intervals etc.. So you really cannot have a general rule and say "all of those are not collecting"...
But then again... If you have some trust in a tool, you do not create such triggers for everything.. Only for cases where it might really indicate, that something is really not working.. Like agent interface availability or snmp interface availability ... those might indicate real issues, which cause data collection to fail.
