No e-mail notifications for "Disk space critically low" events

    Hello,

Newbie here.. In two separate Zabbix installations (one of them is on my laptop - 6.4.12) the

/: Disk space is critically low (used > {$VFS.FS.PUSED.MAX.CRIT:"/"}%)

trigger generates events but I do not get "Media Type" notifications (e-mail etc.) ..

When I examined the events, I noticed that OK events are generated instead of PROBLEM. I suspect that may be the reason that notifications (e-mail etc.) are not sent.

E-mail notifications work otherwise (i.e. with Test).

How can I get this working?

You said "When I examined the events, I noticed ..." what do you mean by that? Went to trigger config page and noticed that there is green OK beside each of them? That does not mean they generate OK events.. it means they are in OK state right now..

    Value Trigger value is displayed:
OK - the trigger is in the OK state
PROBLEM - the trigger is in the Problem state

OK will not be generated without it first going to PROBLEM state...

When I filter only for PROBLEM event, nothing is listed, but all OK are listed. Do you mean that the same 'event' converts from PROBLEM to OK, instead of a new OK event is generated?

Thanks a lot .. I see where I went wrong.. I have been considering the "triggers" list as if it was a "log". I re-did a test on my test environment and it is all clear now.. Thanks a lot ..
