Separate Server nodes configuration requires importing schema?

    Hey there,
I am deploying Zabbix High availability monitoring spanning on 6 Ubuntu 21.04 machines all able to communicate. Here is my end goal.
2x mysql databases with master-master replication
    2x Zabbix server nodes
2x frontends. Each able to point both databases.

I implemented M-M replication but now stuck at configuring server nodes. I cannot find proper answer to the whether do i need to import initial schema on DBs or on Server nodes as well. When I try, error “table ‘role’ already exists” comes up. Server config files are pointing to DBs with all necessary parameters. But HA is not enabled.

Apologies if the message is unclear or vague. I am willing to explain more if required.

    Thanks a million!

Think what you did... you installed 2 separate instances of Zabbix and now you are syncing all changes between those DB-s...
For zabbix HA to work you need ONE database. However you like to make that DB HA, it up to you, but both of your zabbix server instances you should point to one DB... Put somekind of proxy in front of DB-s or use some other ways (do not know much of mysql things)... your Zabbixes should see just one DB...

And same is with your frontends... Your Zabbix core is your ONE db... you should make your frontends HA, pointing to that one DB, not have to separate ones pointing each to own db...
