    Dashboard Graph widget question

    I added a Graph widget to display housekeeper utilization, which constantly reports problems being >75%:

    On the edit screen it shows 100% utilization on Y axis.
    Once saved, on Dashboard it shows 8% utilization:

    Show the "Data set #1" graph settings.

        Try set “Approximation” to “all”.

          ok, Approximation=All sort of works. Now it shows this:

          And I do not really understand what does it show now.
          Red line is still under 10%, pink area is maxed out.
          And we receive alerts on housekeeper utilized >75% every hour.

            Red line -> avg.
            Choose a shorter display interval (1 or 2 hours)- I think you will see sharp peaks hourly. And if you calculate the average, then you get something like 10%.
            Look in the db server log - there are probably records of a slow request.
            You probably need to figure out how your housekeeping is set up and tune the base or equipment

              Thanks, Hamardaban being patient with me... Is there best practices how to mitigate those spikes in housekeeping? Scale up VMs? We have ~1500 hosts and projected to have ~2000.
