I changed the group of the syslog file to docker but nothing changed.

Hello. Can you please check if the user zabbix actually has permission to read the file? su zabbix -s /bin/bash -c “tail /var/log/syslog” And also list on the /var/log folder with ls -al

First of all, thank you for your answer, but since I installed it with docker, there is no user called zabbix on my host.

No Bro. You can do it. You should execute su zabbix -s /bin/bash -c “tail /var/log/syslog” command on the 172.30.0.6 (it should be installed zabbixagent). After installing the zabbix agent, the zabbix user will be created automatically.
