    Zabbix7.0.rc1 cannot initialize asynchronous DNS library

    Failed to start zabbix in an intranet environment.
    Zabbix Version:7.0.rc1
    Zabbix is installed on both internal and external servers and can not be started without internet access.
    zabbix server log:
    3338:20240523:141202.732 for a discovery process with 5 workers, the user limit of 1024 file descriptors is insufficient. The maximum number of concurrent checks per worker has been reduced to 122

    What's the problem? How to solve it?

      Please go to the Zabbix support portal and search for ZBX-24532, there is an open issue for this already, follow that for updates on the issue.

      Markku (my previous post was Unapproved because it has link to the support portal, that's currently not allowed)

      Markku Nothing wrong with your post at the moment... link to support site is nicely visible... Either approved or it was some glitch in matrix...

        Yeah, apparently someone carefully evaluated my post and decided that the link to Zabbix support site can be allowed in the forum after all. I think I'll try again on the "other topics" forum...
