Remote Proxy connectivity issue with Zabbix Server.

Hi, I have implemented Zabbix Server, Frontend, Agent 6.4 on Ubuntu 22.04 (Jammy), Database is MySQL.
I am monitoring various devices by using SNMP & Zabbix Agents connected to my local network. I have also installed a zabbix proxy on a remote network and added that proxy to my server. Issue is that the remote proxy is not connecting to my zabbix server, checked the port 10051 is open.
What could be the reason for this issue, kindly suggest checks i can perform for solution for this problem.
Zabbix is new for me, any kind of help is appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Is public IP required on both server and remote proxy ??

Something looks off in your log. The server needs public ip and open port 10050 and 10051

you see line in the log that says something like

1193514:20240709:134420.914 received configuration data from server at "xx.xx.xx.xx", datalen 151269

or

1194081:20240709:134934.659 Unable to connect to [xx.xx.xx.x]:10051 [cannot connect to [[xx.xx.xx.x]:10051]: connection timed out]

did you set the line in the /etc/zabbix/zabbix_proxy.conf

Hi all,
I worked it out and now, my remote proxies are connecting to my server in active mode.
however when i switch them to passive mode by changing proxy mode value from 0 to 1 and add them to my frontend in passive mode using proxy's IP and port, connectivity breaks up.
All required ports are allowed.
Any ideas why it is working in active mode and not in passive mode..
