Agent2 msi package cannot install on Window Server 2012 R2

I'm encountering an issue with the installation of Zabbix Agent 2 on Windows Server 2012. I had previously installed and then uninstalled the agent. However, when I attempt to reinstall it, an error message appears.

Has anyone experienced this before or have any ideas on how to resolve it?

Having uninstalled it, is the folder C:\Program Files\Zabbix Agent 2 still there and does it contain anything? If so, I suggest deleting that.

I already deleted and still facing issue.

https://www.zabbix.com/documentation...oncepts/agent2 (Agent 2 version 4.4) says that support for Windows came in version 4.4.4, but it doesn't say which Windows versions are supported.

To prevent critical security vulnerabilities in Zabbix agent 2, it is compiled only with supported Go releases. As of Go 1.21, the minimum required Windows versions are raised; therefore, since Zabbix 5.0.42, the minimum Windows version for Zabbix agent 2 is Windows 10/Server 2016.

so that would mean that agent 2 versions between 4.4.4 and 5.0.41 maybe work with 2012 R2.

Which version are you trying to install? I don't know what to say about the reinstall case though.
