How to use Zabbix share?

Hello all,

I just set up a zabbix server 2 weeks ago and tested some things like monitoring Windows servers and VMware servers but now I want to try to add the Universal Printer Template but I can't figure out how to do so. I completely new to zabbix so I don't have much experience yet and I couldn't find any info on how to add such templates.

Hi,

Download the template on the zabbix share, go on your zabbix, configuration, template and you have an import option.

I hugely suggest you to read the Zabbix documentation if you have troubles with such a basic task ; it is very well documented, and you have tons of examples.

Thanks guys I figured it out

My problem was that I used Internet Explorer and that show the code of the xml file instead of downloading it and I thought I had to make a template and put all these codes in manually but then I opened FireFox which just downloaded the file and uploaded it and it works just fine!
Sorry for my maybe stupid question but it works now
