Adding Zabbix Plugin to Grafana, need help

    Hey everyone.

I’m using [Grafana v11.1.0 (5b85c4c2fc)] on my RHEL 7.9 server.
I want to implement my Zabbix as data source by adding it as plugin on my Grafana.

Configuring Grafana with Zabbix - Zabbix Blog

I used this guide to install Zabbix to my server.

I downloaded alexanderzobnin-zabbix-app using the command. I made sure the plugin is in the right directory. But I can’t see Zabbix on my web GUI - add plugins/data source tabs.

What would you suggest i do? Thanks.

I recently added the Zabbix plugin to Grafana and maybe had the same issue as you are having. Try checking the permission of the plugins folder. Mine was owned by root but needed to be grafana.

    Code:
    sudo chown -R grafana:grafana /var/lib/grafana/plugins
I would also follow these instructions. https://grafana.com/docs/plugins/ale...ix-app/latest/
Grafana's UI has changed a little since they were written. When you configure the app, there is no config tab. You just click enable.

If you added the Zabbix plugin and the data source right, when you save it should indicate if its connected right:

Afterwards, for testing, go to Explore, make sure the data source (Zabbix Plugin) is chosen on top, open the 'Group' and you should see there all the 'Groups' you have in Zabbix.
Then you can choose one of the Hosts just to see the metrics reading correct.

I also have different Zabbix Server name then the default one, so I had to change it in the Dashboard.
Edit one of the widgets, make sure your server or host are correct and when expending the Item box you actually should see all the items:
