Problem It probably means that the systems requires more physical memory

    Hi,

How can i fix this issue.
I use KVM VPSen and want monitoring with zabbix.
    I have CentOS 7 64 BIT en zabbix 3.0.1

I have this error every day.

It probably means that the systems requires more physical memory

on which server you see it ?
the zabbix server or is it an agent alerting ? if its an agent check the swap
    and if it is full.

    please add more info

      Hi,

I see this on a server where is installed a Zabbix Agent.
The Zabbix Agent is installed on a ubuntu 14.04 server.

The swap is normal in the server self.
Only zabbix say the error message

The swap is 0 in the ubuntu so the problem is solved.
Zabbix say it is a problem.

run this on zabbix server :
        zabbix_get -s REMOTESERVERIP -p 10050 -I ZABBIXSERVERIP -k system.swap.size[,used]
        and
        zabbix_get -s REMOTESERVERIP -p 10050 -I ZABBIXSERVERIP -k system.swap.size[,free]
Replace ZABBIXSERVERIP with your zabbix server ip address
and REMOTESERVERIP on remote servers that making this issue,

and can you please post the trigger ?
my trigger looks like this :

        {server.dev:system.swap.size[,pfree].last(0)}<50
pfree - show the percentage of swap space is free , you can run this as well - and if its 50% used space of swap space its alerting.

If the server doesn't have swap, monitoring it is useless. You should deactivate it.
I have the same situation on some OVH servers that I rent, they're configured by default with no swap space.

what is this server ? if you go to the server itself and run free -m what is the results ?
thats why zabbix fire a trigger about it , 0 make it think there is no space

That's what I said in my first post in this thread.. The server has no swap, it's useless to monitor it..
