Hi,

I need to know how I can receive SonicWall firewall logs on the Zabbix server for monitoring.

Note: I have configured the SNMP agent on Zabbix to monitor bandwidth, interface status, CPU, and RAM of the firewall, but I’m unsure how to retrieve syslogs.

I have also attached the template through which I am receiving this information in Zabbix.

log monitoring by zabbix requires Zabbix agent installed on a host... So if its just a dummy snmp device, you cannot read any logs from it directly. You need some 3rd tool, where you can probably send your logs from device and read them there...

Hi Cyber,

I am using SNMP OIDs to retrieve firewall data in Zabbix. Is it possible to get syslog data through the same method? I mean, can I receive Firewall syslogs from the SNMP device?

Eventho I have no knowledge of any SonicWall FW-s... I am pretty sure, the answer is no.
