    No route to host error

    Hi all,
I have a server which has Zabbix installed on it, however, it keeps showing me this error:
Get value from agent failed: cannot connect to [[172.23.168.35]:10050]: [113] No route to host

    The log file shows this:

Could anybody help me in identifying the reason for this?

Agent can't connect to zabbix server (172.23.168.35). Is this your server's IP? Can you ping it from client or open a port to it?
Please provide all uncommented lines from agent config.

Hello, I solved this problem by following the steps below:

      1. I stopped the service with the command:
      # systemctl stop zabbix-agent.service

      2. I disabled the automatic start of the agent with the command:
      # systemctl disable zabbix-agent.service

      3. I uninstalled the agent with the command:
      # yum remove zabbix-agent

      4. I deleted the configuration file that was left in the directory:
      # cd /etc/zabbix/zabbix-agent.conf

      command: rm -rf zabbix_agentd.conf

      5. I downloaded another more updated agent for the zabbix I am using: version 6.4 (zabbix-agent-6.4.21-release3.el8.x86_64)

      6. I installed the new agent and pointed the server's IP in the . configuration:
      # vim /etc/zabbix/zabbix-agent.conf

      7. I saved the file and started the service with the command below:

      # systemctl start zabbix-agent.service

      8. I checked the status with the command:

      # systemctl status zabbix-agent.service

      9. I activated the service at operating system startup:

      # systemctl enable zabbix-agent.service

      Done!
